I guess I'll forgive you, but you're really only hurting yourself.
I've never played Zero Wing, and I've always wanted to experience the terrible English translations for myself. I've also never played a Katamari game...they seem like so much fun too.

You're not missing out on much. All of the atrocious translation is what you see in the opening credits. The rest is just a ho-hum, by the numbers horizontal shooter.

Never played ANY Strider games
DUN DUN DUNNNN
But I still think he's an awesome character so I show my support to him by making him my avatar on forums. I've only played as him in MvC
I've been trying to find various ways to get my hands on this game or at least PLAY it in some kind of way... I guess I'll just have to buy it off ebay eventually

Way too many to list but the biggest ones I can think of off the top of my head are Super Mario Bros. 2, and any popular Sega Saturn game. I never had a Saturn until recently, and I haven't started collecting for it so I still need to try and find things like NiGHTS, the arcade ports, etc.

If you ever get a chance you should check out the excellent spiritual successor to Strider- Osman (Cannon Dancer), it's amazing.
As for games I haven't played that I should be ashamed about, I really can't think of any. (I've played too many games in my day)
However, there are plenty of games I wish I never put my hands on. That's for sure.

I've never played Earthbound ... in my defense, I didn't know it existed until the GameCube was out ... and by that time it was expensive as hell.

Thanks for the information, saves me the trouble of looking it up.
Crono, Earthbound is fantastic. You're really missing out, in my opinion.

That's just a shame.

I have never played Ico. You may flay me now.
I have never put more than an hour and a half into Silent Hill and I love old tank-control survival horror games.

I'll be more than happy to buy it an play it when it's something near affordable.

Yeah, it's pretty ridiculously expensive even for cartridge only. I wish we would get a Virtual Console release so that maybe we would see the price at least drop a little.

Yeah, I'm slowly realizing I'm probably going to have to rob an old lady to get this game.

I haven't played Ico or Shadow of the Collossus, but to be fair I only bought a PS2 last week even though I already had 16 PS2 games. >.>
I also have not played any Silent Hill games, even though people tell me they're awesome.

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus are coming out in a double HD pack for PS3 hopefully around the end of the year, good chance to check them out. They are really beautiful and engaging, definitely worth checking out.
I'm a huge fan of the first 3 Silent Hill games. I thought the fourth one still had a good story, but had issues with the actual gameplay. I just couldn't get into the Homecoming or the PSP game.
Shattered Memories on the Wii isn't a very scary game, and is not really a "re-imagining" of the first game even though it's often called that, but I really enjoyed that one for its adventure game style and enjoyable story.

Haha well that's what I figured but people keep telling me the first three were good.

These two sentences include a lot of my favorite games on the system! If you love tank control survival horror games, the Silent Hill series is incredibly fun, and in my opinion pretty damn scary.
