Wow. Color me jealous of your collection man. I'm not yet in a financial spot where I can start collecting arcade boards/cabs, even through bargain hunting, but the interest is there. I really want to eventually get a Space Harrier sit-down cabinet. That would be like the holy grail of my entire collection just because it's my favorite arcade game in it's ultimate form in my eyes. Do you have any tips for someone looking to break into arcade collecting but who doesn't have very much arcade knowledge, especially lacking in technical knowledge?

A Space Harrier cabinet would be awesome, I myself wouldn't mind having one in my collection.

I wrote an arcade buyers guide blog a few years back for people like yourself who are interested in getting into the hobby for the first time. Hopefully some of this information can help you.

    Check out my guide here.

If you have any other questions that the blog post doesn't answer feel free to ask and I'll do my best to help you out.

Awesome guide man! I've got it bookmarked now, and I'm sure to be keeping my eyes on my local Craigslist for anything to good to pass up. I don't have any questions currently but if I have any questions when I actually start to get some arcade goodies, it's nice to know I can talk to someone who's willing to lend their knowledge.

Oh, and I'm waiting with bated breath for Super Auctions to make an appearance in my area. I would enjoy checking that out even if I walk out empty-handed.
